Landing
I have for so long dreamed of walking amongst the humans and for them to greet me with open arms.
I have dreamt for my brothers and I to walk free on the Earth and to learn what it is to be human. To be loved.
But when my brothers came, they did not welcome us with open arms. They feared us. Loathed out presence, maimed and tortured us. We were reduced to mere science, creatures they could poke and prod rather than their equals.
The humans we had for so long revered showed their true colours. Showed their true heart and now I know what they are. Monsters.
They attack us and make us fear our own shadows and yet all we have ever wanted is love.
But no more, not today. We will launch our attack on those who turned their back on us. We will leave their world as barren as their souls.
When the red sky dawns then the humans shall know their folly. Then they shall know the true cost of their betrayal.
